The MICHELIN Guide reviews consist of a short description and an extensive system of culinary distinctions, the most valued of which are its globally famous stars. Restaurants can receive from one to three MICHELIN Stars based on five universal criteria: quality of the products, mastery of the cooking techniques, harmony and balance of flavours, personality of the chef as expressed in the cooking, consistency between visit and through the menu as a whole.

One MICHELIN Star indicates high-quality cooking, worth a stop, two MICHELIN Stars indicate excellent cooking, worth a detour, while three MICHELIN Stars indicate exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.
